At The Vieras, we recognize the importance of this historic milestone and the ongoing struggle for racial equality and justice. In honor of Juneteenth, we're shining a spotlight on seven incredible Black-owned businesses that are making a positive impact on their communities and beyond. Beyond the ring, Pollard is committed to mentoring youth and providing positive role models and opportunities for success.

Partake Foods, founded by Denise Woodard, is on a mission to make delicious, allergy-friendly snacks accessible to all. As a Black mother of a child with food allergies, Woodard saw a need for better options and set out to create a line of snacks that are free from the top eight allergens. Partake Foods not only provides tasty treats for those with dietary restrictions but also advocates for inclusivity and diversity in the food industry.

Third Crown, founded by Kristen and Kofi Essel, is a luxury jewelry brand known for its bold and sophisticated designs. Inspired by architecture and geometric shapes, Third Crown's pieces are statement-making accessories that empower the wearer to express their individuality and style. With a commitment to sustainability and ethical sourcing, Third Crown is redefining luxury while uplifting Black artistry and craftsmanship.

Founded in 2023 by Ingrid Best, IBest Wines is igniting a wine renaissance, transforming the wine industry's appearance, experience, dialogue, and flavor. Catering to contemporary wine enthusiasts, the company offers a curated selection of fine wines that are innovative, diverse, and globally sourced from underrepresented regions. Currently, IBest Wines provides consumers with the opportunity to savor exquisite wines from Stellenbosch, a prestigious wine region in South Africa.

Jasmin Foster founded Be Rooted with the vision of creating a space where women of color could see themselves represented in ways they hadn't experienced before. Every design and message at Be Rooted is a celebration of culture, aimed at inspiring customers to connect with their inner muse and embrace self-celebration. They believe in the power of representation and strive to make every woman feel acknowledged and valued. At Be Rooted, they want their customers to know that they are not only seen but that they truly belong here, in a community that honors and uplifts their unique identities.

A lifelong friendship, shared values, and a deep passion for coffee and tea form the foundation of BLK & Bold Specialty Beverages. Co-founders Pernell and Rod created this company with the vision of bringing together coffee and tea enthusiasts worldwide, united by a common goal of investing in the community, particularly in youth development. They believe that if children are the future, they should have the resources necessary to reach their full potential.

With this philosophy in mind, BLK & Bold commits 5% of its gross profits to nonprofit organizations across America that focus on instilling confidence, providing exposure, and offering guidance to help children become the best versions of themselves.
